Composition

Gibberellic Acid (GA3) 5% (liquid formula)

Characteristics

Gibberellic acid (GA3) is an organic acid which acts on the growth and the development of the plant.

Its action primarily consists in regulating the cellular elongation processes.

It acts on the meristem by stimulating the distension and the cellular division.

Physiologically, the most evident results of gibberellic acid can be seen from cell elongation in a single direction.

The most important effects of gibberellic acid are: to stimulate the plant development, to anticipate flowering and to obtain an early fructification and to increase the productivity.

GA3 improves germination of seeds, compensates the requirements in cold or the photoperiod for the lifting of seeds dormancy (the stratification), flowering (floral induction), fructification and stimulates the plant growth during the stress period.

Applied during flowering, gibberellic acid can improve the partenocarpic fructification and the production of the fruits (pear tree, grapevine, Clementine, mandarin tree).

Applications

Gibberellic acid action is strongly effected by environmental and pedologic conditions depend mainly on the species and the amount applied.

The treatments can be carried out on apple, pear, cherry, strawberry, citrus, vine, tomato, eggplant, zucchini, asparagus, carrot, onion and floral species.

It is better to add a good dose of nitrogen, immediately absorbed like our FOGLIA VERDE, together with gibberellic acid to satisfy the induced requirements in the plant.

The dosage recommended is generally between 50-100 ml/hl.

Carrying out foliar treatments and avoiding concoctions that is not with foliar nitrogenous fertilizers.

Avoid carrying out treatments during the hottest period.

However, all this indications have a pure informative value.

The product must be to use on a small parcel of land before extending application on a great surface.
